Oak Library

I made a virtual representation of a living room that looks cozy enough to cuddle up with a book. I hope an impartial viewer sees a nicely executed design of a cozy room. To create a well-constructed animation of a library-like living room, that is cozy and cute. I can add realistic lighting, such as the lighting for the fireplace that makes it look like an actual fire instead of a picture of a fire. The audio really emphasizes the fire’s part in creating a cozy room, the crinkling of the bag sounds similar to the crackling of the fire. I wanted the color palette to be neutrals so it didn’t overpower the senses. The lighting isn’t extremely bright so it’s not overpowering the senses either but it’s bright enough to feel like the character can read a book along with the 3D scan of myself. The virtual space allows the viewer to move throughout the artwork in a way they can’t in a painting or a drawing, they can view the different angles throughout a room instead of one perspective.
